- Slide a 295 mm (1 dot) threaded rod through the bottom hole of the Y-motor mount
- Affix the motor mount to the center of the threaded rod using a M8 washer and a M8 nut on each side of the mount
- Slide a 295 mm (1 dot) threaded rod through a bar clamp
- Affix the clamp to the rod using M8 washers and nuts as in step 2. The clamp should be approximately 1/4 of the way down the rod
- Attach a M8 nut and washer to the bar clamp rod at the half-way point
- Slide the bar clamp rod through the top hole of the Y-motor mount assembly
- On the unsecured side of the bar clamp rod, affix the following
- Add an additional bar clamp to the open end of the bar clamp rod per steps 3 & 4

I created and continually update this blog for a simple reason: the current state of 3D printing is confusing and I feel that this discourages new enthusiasts.
