Shaft Finisher

After you have cut your shafts, they will invariably have burrs and sharp edges on the cut ends. You can clean up the shaft ends manually with files (coarse to fine) or you can use a bench grinder.

Note: If you go with a hand file you should purchase both a coarse and fine file. Use the coarse first than the fine file for a smooth finish. Also, I highly recommend the powered option as with the shaft cutter. In this case there are 44 ends to clean up for the 22 shafts.
